What was the goal of the class?
From watching the video, I guess the goal of the class was to help students to speak more English , in order to make it easier to the students , the teacher started with a simple and interesting question “ do you belong to --- club?” “How long have you played ---?” through answering the question students felt relaxed and a little bit exciting for the class, they are well prepared for the class, and the English speaking environment was great.
What activities did the students do to accomplish the goal?
They did a group work and interviewed each other.
What role did the teacher play in the class?
Teacher acted as an organizer and a monitor, an instructor, a team leader and a coach.
From watching the teacher and students did you receive any hints as to how to have a successful English class?
Have clear instructions and be supportive and encouraging.
